Synopsis
We live in an era where countries around the world are engaged in fierce information warfare behind the scenes.
Westeris wants to maintain peace with Ostania and avoid war.
A mission/operation in which a spy codenamed “Tasogare” creates a fake family and enrolls an adopted child into the prestigious Eden School attended by Desmond’s son in order to contact Donovan Desmond, an Ostanian politician who threatens peace between the East and West , “strix”
This is a “entertaining” and “heartwarming” story about a unique makeshift family of “spies,” “killers,” and “espers,” which depicts the process of becoming a “real family” while keeping secrets from each other.
Thoughts
It’s interesting anyway. The main character is involved in espionage activities to prevent wars between nations, but I don’t feel the heavy theme in the slightest. The action scenes are cool and full of comedy. All the characters have their own quirks and you grow attached to them. It is heartwarming to see the three people who started a fake family grow little by little and become closer to each other. Also pay attention to the strange face!
Volume 1
In order to maintain peace and avoid war, Westeris orders a talented spy named “Tasogare”, who has many different faces and can handle any mission perfectly, to carry out a secret mission.
The mission is to get closer to Donovan Dezmond, the president of Ostania’s National Unity Party, and find out about his disturbing movements. Donovan is cautious and only appears at social gatherings at his son’s school, Eden School. To infiltrate a social gathering, you must enroll your child in school.
Tasogare disguises his occupation as a psychiatrist, calls himself “Lloyd Forger,” and finds a girl named “Anya” at an orphanage. Anya is a psychic who can read people’s minds and that Lloyd is a spy. Anya likes spy anime and she wants Lloyd to take her home, so she lies about her age and intelligence to get him to take her.
When Anya takes the entrance exam as Lloyd’s daughter, her parents are required to be present for her second exam, and Lloyd then decides to find a wife for him. There, he meets Yoru, whose main job is to be a hitman. Yoru is also temporarily looking for a lover for her, and their mutual interests coincide, so they end up acting as a fake lover and wife.
Thus begins a new life for the three, who have become a disguised family for their own purposes.
Volume 2
After overcoming a tough interview, Anya passes the Eden school. To celebrate the pass, the three who enjoy spy pretends approach their real family.
When you visit the clothing store with Yoru to tailor the uniforms of the Eden school in Anya, you will hear information about the harsh school rules and bullying of Eden School.Anya begins to work to be selected as a special scholarship student, Imperial Scalar.
Lloyd has given up in the midst of the selection of Anya as a scholarship student, planning a “Strategy of Plan B. Nakayoshi” to get along with Desmond’s son Damian and be invited to Desmond’s house.

Meanwhile, Anya continues her life at Eden School and develops relationships with her classmates through her dodgeball games and more. She struggles to improve her relationship with Damien and also challenges her schoolwork, but her reliance on her psychic abilities runs into difficulties.
Lloyd and Anya visit the hospital as part of their community service. Anya uses her supernatural powers to find a drowning child and earns her first Stella (star) in first grade.
Volume ４
A delegation of Westaris foreign ministers arrives in Ostania for an important East-West summit.
Meanwhile, at the Forger family, Anya’s family is looking for a pet dog as a reward for winning Stella. Tasogare visits the organization’s pet shop, but Anya is dissatisfied with the store, which is full of trained, strong-looking dogs. They head to another transfer meeting, but Tasogare learns of the existence of a terrorist plot and is called to the scene.
At the adoption event, Anya meets a mysterious dog and ends up following the dog into the hideout of a terrorist group. This dog protects Anya and saves her from her danger.
Yoru, who is reunited with Anya when she is taken by a mysterious dog. Anya sees the future predicted by her dog and learns that Tasogare is in danger. Anya takes action with her dog to change her future. Meanwhile, Tasogare carries out an operation to lure a group of terrorists, and the terrorists are eventually arrested.
Volume 5
Lloyd is worried that Yoru will be late coming home, but in fact, Yoru has been learning cooking from Yoru’s colleague Camilla without telling the two of them. Yoru, who cries when Lloyd and Anya acknowledge her cooking for the first time, is impressive.
Anya also struggles to improve her relationship with Damian and tries to gain his attention.
Anya’s midterm exams at school are finally starting. Anya thought she could do anything by reading minds, but she finds out that the day of her test is a new moon and she can’t use her powers, so she studies in a hurry.
However, Lloyd cannot trust her and decides to falsify the answer sheets, which are kept under strict security. He finally sees Anya’s answer while she is interrupted by her peers who are totally incapable of her job.
Furthermore, Tobari, a cold-blooded female spy who is a colleague of Lloyd’s, appears and visits the Forger family, giving us a feeling that new ups and downs will occur in the story.
Volume 6
The story begins with Fiona and Lloyd participating in a dark tennis tournament and on a mission to retrieve secret documents. The tennis match includes unrealistic elements such as doping, poison gas, and traps, but Lloyd and Fiona calmly emerge victorious.
Meanwhile, the romantic showdown between Yoru and Fiona unfolds through tennis. In this showdown, Fiona is completely defeated by Yoru, making us realize once again her strength and her feelings.
Yoru then mistakenly thinks that Lloyd is cheating on her, and she has mixed feelings towards him. Lloyd invites Yoru to a bar to relieve her anxiety, but Yoru ends up kicking Lloyd’s jaw, knocking him out.This episode shows that Yoru truly has feelings for the Forger family.
Anya deepens her friendships at her school, and through her shopping sprees with Becky and her interactions with Damian, her presence is shown to have a major impact on those around her.In particular, Lloyd’s contact with Damian’s father, Donovan Desmond, marks the climax of the story.
Volume 7
Lloyd tries to contact Desmond to achieve his goal. This contact creates a new challenge for Lloyd, who uses his skills to decipher Desmond’s mind. On the other hand, the story depicts Damien’s conflict between his studies and friendships at Eden School, and the events that make him feel like he has grown.

The Forger family goes on a trip on the luxury cruise ship “Princess Lorelai.” As a member of the assassination organization “Garden”, Yoru is given the task of escaping a mafia survivor, Orca, and her son to a safe third country. There are many assassins on board the ship who are targeting Orca, and Yoru becomes involved in a fierce battle with them in order to protect Orca.
Meanwhile, Anya wins a trip on a luxury cruise ship in the grand raffle at Central Mall and ends up boarding the same ship.
Lloyd is unaware of the exile drama taking place on the ship, but he notices a wiretapping device and a suspicious person inside the ship.Yoru continues the fierce battle on the upper deck. During this time, Yor reconsiders why he is a killer and stands up to protect her family.
This volume unfolds a thrilling story of Yoru’s inner conflict, the bonds of the Forger family, and the drama of exile. It is characterized by the deep portrayal of Yoru’s strength as a warrior and his love for his family.
